  • Scholarship Description
  • The Hispanic Organization for Public Employees is pleased to offer the following scholarships any student attending the University of Texas at San Antonio or an Alamo Community College District campus.

    -Must be involved in community service
    -Is of Hispanic descent
    -Is able to attend Adelante's Annual Leadership Institute in San Antonio, Texas (October 25-28) if awarded a scholarship
    -Is able to attend the HOPE Hispanic Heritage Banquet
    -Can provide a color head shot of self (min size 4x6)
    -Is able to provide one letter of recommendation
    -Has a 2.75 or greater GPA
    -Will attend, or is currently attending an Alamo Community College District Campus or the University of Texas at San Antonio
    -Will maintain full-time enrollment status (12 hours) for the duration of the scholarship period
