  • The Bright Horizons Scholarship will award a total of $20,000 in the form of three scholarships valued at $10,000, $6,000, and $4,000. Students who are US citizens currently studying STEM at an accredited two or four-year university with an interest in the field of energy or the environment are welcome to apply. Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern. The charges have since been dropped and in a reversal, the woman was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct.
