  • Scholarship Description
  • The SVS (Balaji) Temple of Greater Chicago Scholarship is awarded to first-year students who are enrolled full time at accredited undergraduate programs. The $10,000 scholarship will be distributed in equal installments over four years. The scholarship is awarded 50% based on merit and 50% based on financial need. All scholarship recipients must be continuously enrolled in an accredited college program during the scholarship period, and maintain a minimum B average. A Santa Barbara City College Professor believes he is facing "collateral damage" for defending a professor he had invited to SBCC as a guest speaker.
