  • Scholarship Description
  • The goals of the Twin Tiers Youth For Christ Scholarship (TTYFCS) program include recognizing young adults for their development as committed Christians and motivating them to continue to develop as followers of Christ. The name of the program is in appreciation of the positive impact of YFC.

    Eligibility:
    -Applicant is a Christian agreeing with the views of the YFC as expressed on the application
    -Applicant is a current high school graduate who has been a resident of Chemung County, New York or adjacent county for over six (6) months
    -Applicant's goal is to obtain an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
    -Applicant has obtained a recommendation from a pastor of a "Christian Church." Applicant does not have to be a member of that pastor's church. The definition of "Christian Church" is an entity that is recognized as a "Church" by the IRS and whose leaders agree with the expression of faith included in Requirement 1
