  • BPW/USA, founded in 1919, promotes equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The Burlington Business and Professional Women’s Organization Science and Technology Scholarship was established to help single female parents advance their careers.

    Eligibility:
    -Attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding
    -Reside in Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle or Lamoille counties
    -Be a female who is the head of a single-parent family
    -Demonstrate financial need
