I am now a single mother trying to get myself financially set so that I can provide for my Three children One of which is facing a Sexual Assault case against my soon to be Ex Husband and Her Biological Father, Which is also my Abuser. I am well driven and very dependable! Although I have been classified with PTSD because of my current situation I am Not one to be held back by anything that will prevent me in getting my babies a better and safe life. i am a 47 year old single mom tired of living paycheck to paycheck and working 3 jobs. I graduated high school in 1988, and immediately went to college. In college i had no direction, and no idea what i wanted to do, so i just took regular classes and eventually dropped out. A couple of years later, took classes here and there, but still not happy. i currently work for an attorney, and i would love to get my bachelor's degree in paralegal. i would also love to show my son that staying in school and completing it is a goal that he needs to recognize. Going back to school is hard, and i dont want him to have to struggle like i have. i appreciate the opportunity and look forward to hearing back from you. Erin

My name is Anastasia Stigall and I'm 30 years old. I was born and rasied in Memphis, TN. After being absence I'm from a university for five years, I decided it was time to return and presue my degree in Athletic Training at Middle Tennessee State University. Initally, I planned to work upon my arrival; unfortunately, the Athletic Training program is very demanding and time consuming that no job would work with my course ans practice schedule. I've taken loans to try and cover my courses, books and etc.; however; it is a struggle day to day for food and basic necessities. Thus, I'm definitely in need financially. Thank you for this opportunity to apply for this scholarship.

I would love to apply for this scholarship but I can't seem to find it anywhere and the deadline is around the corner. I am a divorced single mother making less then $17k a year and I am currently in a trade school for CADD. It is a field that not many women are currently in. As of right now I am getting straight A's and would hate to give it up because of financial hardship. I am just trying to make a better life for my kids and I.
