  • Scholarship Description
  • We would like to award a book scholarship to a woman who is pursuing a career in an area of study that is directly related to the environment and conservation. The work of this individual would become an extension of our Gals Go Fish group mission. We will award a $500 per year ($250 per semester) for one year.

    Applicants must be a female Missouri or Kansas resident attending college in Missouri or Kansas and must have declared major and in the field of environmental sciences. Must be in junior or senior year status of college and maintain full-time student status as well as a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Supreme Court Rules for Professor in Viral Blog Case

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that Marquette University wrongfully suspended a political science professor after he criticized a graduate student over a discussion on gay marriage.
