Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Colorado Scholarships

To encourage women pursuing careers in transportation (such as transportation/civil engineering, planning, construction management, finance, or logistics) at Colorado and Wyoming schools, WTS Colorado is excited to offer two annual graduate-level scholarships, two undergraduate-level scholarships, a community college/trade school and high school level scholarship:


Graduate Scholarships:
- Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship ($4,000)
- President’s Leadership Legacy Scholarship ($4,000)

Undergraduate Scholarships:
- Sharon D. Banks Scholarship ($2,500)
- Louise Moritz Molitoris Leadership Award ($2,500)

Community College/Technical/Trade School ($2000)

High School Transportation YOU Scholarship ($500)

Application Deadline: November 3rd

Colorado Chapter scholarship winners will be provided a complimentary one-year membership to WTS Colorado, and will be provided an opportunity for mentorship and discounted rates to select WTS events. Chapter Scholarship winners will be submitted for consideration of the international scholarship awards - in the amounts of $10,000 (Overly), $5,000 (Legacy), $5,000 (Banks), $5,000 (Molitoris), $1,000 (Trade School) and $1,000 (High School).

WTS is an international organization with over 4,400 members in more than 40 chapters, with 200+ members in the local Colorado chapter. WTS is dedicated to advancing women in the transportation industry and provides opportunities for career advancement through the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences. WTS is turning the glass ceiling into a career portal.
