My name is KaTera McCollister and I am a junior this year. I've been passionate about being a cardiologist since I was 11 years old and I am willing to work hard in order to complete 10 years of college. I've been taking college classes and have been dedicated to my dream since 14 along with passing multiple virtual test. I absolutely love helping people in any way I can! My last hospital trip was so rough that I was afraid to even enter a hospital, but I think that's where my motivation to become a doctor kicks in. I think this world needs more doctors that will provide efficient results as well as making their patients feel like they're in good hands. I want to change others future as well as mine. Thank you for taking out the time to read my comment, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Dear to whom it may concern, My name is Savannah Smith-Foster and when I graduate college, I want to excel in the exciting field of neurology through studying hard as well as inevitably getting into medical school to get my M.D. I want to become an innovative neurologist, because this has been a dream for me and we do not have a great quantity of African American Women within that field here in the U.S. Especially now, It would be important to research and study how people act and feel as a result of COVID-19. Due to the personal isolation of those in our community, this specific illness has increased those that suffer from depression. The impact on this not only affects the individual person but also their family, local communities, and how we can effectively work together to be a better society. With this in mind, my overall excitement for the field is why I want to contribute and become a neurologist and to ultimately help the world become a better and safer place for the future. I will channel what I have been dreaming of for years to ensure that this is my best academic year yet and continue that momentum into college. I feel that with my college experience I will learn more about myself and my degree. My major is pre neuroscience and cognitive studies and I’m excited at the opportunity to grow over the four years to come. This will help me lay a solid foundation for my future career as a neurologist and prepare me to best support those that I have the opportunity to help. Additionally, after achieving academic excellence for the four years of my undergraduate degree, I will be applying to medical school. Medical school will benefit me because I will learn and understand what is expected as a neurologist as well as learn the brain and research several different topics. Having the support of your organization alongside my passion and drive to succeed, I will achieve what I have been dreaming of my entire life. My inspiration comes from the doubters as

I decided to attend a college early because I want to get my credits in and have those transferred to the college I hope to get into in fall 2021. I am most interested in majoring in Psychology as a counselor because I like to explore the way we feel as humans and understanding the human behaviors and their mental processes. I find it interesting to learn about our emotions as humans and what causes us to feel certain ways. I also choose to study into this field because I want to be a counselor in the future who could listen to other people problems .

University to Give New Students Free Laptops for Filing the FAFSA

April 6, 2021

by Izzy Hall

The coronavirus made laptops a necessity for college students. Where before students without personal computers or laptops could use on-campus computers and provided software to meet the technological needs of their courses, the shift last spring to online classes necessitated that students have a stable internet connection and a compatible device. While the majority of students were able to meet this requirement, according to a study by EDUCASE, some students found themselves without a modern laptop that could run the most up-to-date browser, use RAM-heavy software or keep up even with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. One university has announced a unique remedy for this technical situation. [...]
