I'm a heavy advocate for alcohol and drug addictions/awareness. In 2007 I lost my uncle to drugs, in 2014 I lost my mother(who had just turned 40) to alcoholism. Last year, I found my brother(26) passed away in his apartment in Racine. When my mother died, I struggled with alcoholism, and can proudly say I conquered it over the past few years. With these experiences, I've volunteered, and have been to a ton of AA meetings, I plan in the near future(once I hopefully have my neck surgery) to start bringing awareness into the college, and hope to help bring change for the university, and the community.

Victoria B  on 12/27/2019 6:17:24 AM

I have been in school since 2016 -- I've been working 2 jobs and going to school between 4-2 nights a week. I am about to finish my Medical Administration degree. Going back to school was hard for me. I don't get any help I will need to pay back before interest $55K-- I wish school would see people who have decent job, need help in school too. A lot of the kids that were in school with me, wouldn't even show up but they were the ones getting the free ride to college-- but us hard working adults, who are caring for a family working 40+ hours a week and going to school we don't get anything. This needs to change. We want to better our self's too.

Haylei S  on 12/25/2019 6:38:13 PM

This will be a commensurate challenge. I equitably qualify, only in that I am blessed by He on High. The LORD of Hosts, or Sabaoth, will grant me the title of scholar, and perhaps more than a dollar. It all belongs to Him, of Whom I may be the foremost Earth follower. For you, that challenge, do I hereby issue.
