S.H.E. Squared is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of all women in the areas of Social Responsibility, Health & wellness, Education & Economics. We are glad to announce that this year we will be providing (1) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to a qualified applicant.
Eligibility
- Female
- Must be age 16 and up
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need
- First time college Freshman attending first semester of college study
- Must attend college in the Houston area
Application Process
Write a 500 word essay describing your chosen degree field and your plans to impact society once you obtain your degree. Applicants must submit their essay and all application materials before the June 30th deadline.
S.H.E. Squared was founded and incorporated on December 17, 2012 by Carlis Lollie while attending nursing school at Texas Woman's University. Ms. Lollie wanted to create an organization that supported young girls and women in various domains of life to include social responsibility, health and wellness, education, and economics. S.H.E Squared received designation as a 501(c)(3) organization on June 3, 2014. S.H.E Squared has provided over 10 years of service to young girls and women in the Houston and surrounding areas.
