Each year, the PMMI Foundation awards over $200,000 in scholarships to students pursuing careers in the packaging and processing industries. These scholarships are designed to support the next generation of industry leaders and innovators. With multiple scholarship opportunities, students can apply based on their specific field of study or career aspirations. Most of these scholarships have a March 31st deadline. Others have a July deadline. Inquire with the scholarship provider to determine which deadline applies to the one you have chosen to apply for.
Scholarship Details
- Chuck Yuska Scholarship: Established in honor of PMMI’s former President & CEO, this scholarship celebrates innovation in packaging.
- Electrical Engineer Scholarship: $5,000 awarded to a student at a North American 4-year college/university focusing on electrical engineering.
- John A. Kowal Memorial Scholarship: $5,000 awarded to honor a founding OMAC member and support careers in automation.
- Mechanical Engineer Scholarship: $5,000 awarded to a student focusing on mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
- Packaging & Processing Women's Leadership Network Scholarship: $5,000 awarded to support female students pursuing packaging or processing careers.
- PMMI Scholarship in Memorial of Claude S. Breeden, Glenn Davis, and Art Schaefer: $4,000 awarded to students at 2-year North American colleges.
- Processing Scholarship: $5,000 awarded to a student enrolled in a processing program at a North American 4-year college/university.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be enrolled or accepted at a North American college or university
- Scholarships are available for both 2-year and 4-year programs, depending on the specific scholarship
- Open to students pursuing careers in packaging, processing, engineering, or automation
