Scholarship Description: For A Bright Future provides annual scholarships to underrepresented students with outstanding achievement and the drive to pursue higher education in select fields. Applicants must be minority high school/college students who reside and study in the United States and come from low-income households and have graduated from high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Individual scholarship criteria varies.

The Melissa Stoneberger Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000
Deadline: April 10, 2021
Scholarship Description: The Melissa Stoneberger Foundation is looking for a highly motivated applicant who is involved in his/her community, with strong leadership skills and personal drive, a full-time student, who is both willing to help us in continuing Melissa's legacy and in need. Applicants are required to submit support documents including transcripts, a GPA score of 3.5 or higher, college letter of acceptance, 4 part essay and a minimum of 2 recommendation letters.

AIGA Worldstudio Scholarships

Scholarship Description: AIGA Worldstudio Scholarships benefit underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students who are studying photography, illustration, and design disciplines in colleges and universities in the United States.Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following disciplines: graphic design, illustration, interactive design, or photography, and be enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States for the upcoming school year as a full-time student.

Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship

Scholarship Description: The Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship seeks to help talented young people make college more attainable through a $1000 scholarship. These one-year awards are granted to exceptional high school seniors accepted to a US based college or university who demonstrate a financial need. Scholarship Description: The Steps For Change Scholarship is an income and merit-based scholarship awarded to high school seniors applying to a college or university to further their career goals. Award recipients must display academic excellence, exude passion in empowering the community, and exemplify a desire for continuous personal growth. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, have a household income of less than $55,000, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation

Award Amount: $2,500

Scholarship Description: The S. Carter Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance to promising individuals proving acceptance into any accredited institution of higher learning.
