Scholarship Description

We believe students from all economic backgrounds should have the opportunity to attend the Kennesaw State University. Whether you attend our Kennesaw or Marietta campuses, you’re in the right place to explore the many scholarship, grant, loan and work-study opportunities available that help make paying for college as affordable as possible. The State of Georgia has several financial assistance programs available to Georgia residents. A student must meet state eligibility requirements to receive state aid.

HOPE is a merit-based scholarship program available to students who have met the University System of Georgia and the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) residency requirements and are enrolled in an undergraduate degree seeking program. If you are a Georgia resident enrolling in a degree program at KSU, you may be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship. Recipients must demonstrate academic achievement to be considered for the HOPE Scholarship. To be eligible, applicants must: complete a FAFSA or GSFAPPS; be a US citizen or permanent resident; and, have a 3.0 GPA. This is renewable upon a 3.0 GPA.
