Junior Achievement Essay Competition
Junior Achievement of Greater Washington is pleased to announce the Junior Achievement Essay Competition, sponsored by David M. Rubenstein. This year, Junior Achievement invites students from the Greater Washington region to compete for $110,000 in scholarships.
The competition is open to any student in the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the Greater Washington region. Students must write a 1,000- to 1,500-word essay; the topic will be revealed to fans of JA on Facebook prior to the public announcement. In addition, from each of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, the school with the greatest number of eligible applications will receive $6,000.
