The Dell Scholars program helps you earn your degree and launch your career. Each year, 500 students nationwide become Dell Scholars, gaining financial assistance, academic advising, career coaching, and a team of dedicated experts who support them every step of the way.
Scholarship Details
- 500 Dell Scholars selected annually nationwide
- $20,000 flexible scholarship for tuition, housing, books, and living expenses
- Includes a laptop, book credits, and access to emergency funds
- Provides academic advising, career coaching, and personal support throughout college
- Focused on helping students persist through challenges and earn their bachelor’s degree
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior currently participating in an approved college readiness program
- Must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited four-year college or university immediately after high school
- Must be Pell Grant eligible
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4 on a 4.0 scale
- Must demonstrate motivation, perseverance, and a clear sense of purpose
Application Process
- Complete the online Dell Scholars Program application before the listed deadline
- Submit personal information, academic details, and short essays describing your goals, challenges, and motivation
- Wait for notification of finalist selection after the initial review
- Finalists must submit the following materials:
- Current high school transcript
- FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS)
- Online recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor
- An independent selection committee reviews all finalist information to determine scholarship recipients
- Winners are announced and begin participating in the Dell Scholars network and support programs
Our scholarship is designed to be flexible so that scholars can use award money for the many costs that arise during their college career. In addition to funding tuition, fees, and full cost of attendance for undergraduate study, scholarship awards may be used towards graduate school, loan repayment, study abroad, and internship stipends.
