The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds. Founded in 1953 by a group of individuals who were interested in building their own airplanes, EAA expanded its mission of growing participation in aviation to include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters, and contemporary manufactured aircraft. The generous donors who provide gifts to support EAA’s scholarships are committed to maintaining aviation’s future leadership. Scholarships offer a meaningful way to help students with a dream to become the innovators, aviators and engineers of tomorrow.
We encourage well-rounded individuals who are involved in their school or community and interested in the world of aviation to apply for an EAA scholarship. The EAA Post-Secondary Scholarships are for students attending a post-secondary institution with a focus on aviation, including pilot training, aeronautics engineering, aviation management, airframe and powerplant (A&P) maintenance, and more. EAA also offers the Flight Training Scholarships for candidates not enrolled in a university program. Applications open November 1st every year and close March 1st. Dollar amounts will vary.
