For me, math has become a strong passion. I enjoy math because it's a unique way of learning. I remember earning a huge trophy in the 3rd grade because I was the fastest one to solve problems in less than a few minutes. Math also helps reduce my stress. Solving problems correctly, creates satisfaction.

When I have trouble sleeping whether during the school year or summer vacation, I tend to google Math problems and tackle them on to help me sleep. Math is my cup of tea !

I am entering this contest because math is my favorite subject. Math comes so easy to me when I was taking my math tests in school I would only put my answers down and not the work. My teachers would deduct points from my tests because I didn't do the work, but I knew the answers I learned over the years to always do the work to proof you know the subject. I would like a scholarship so I can further my skills in math.

Colston E  on 1/20/2019 1:14:40 PM

I have a passion for Math and I have always excelled in Math. My teachers would want me to show my work on tests, but I would do most of the problem solving in my head. Math is the foundation of our society because everything we use was created with math. This scholarship would enable me to further my progress and love for math.
