Created to encourage students to pursue foodservice supply chain management careers, the David R. Parsley Scholarship offers undergraduate students scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Students should apply January through March. Ideal candidates should be pursuing a post-secondary degree in the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry, as well as for similar awards.
Each year, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation awards more than $1.2 million in scholarships to individuals. The Foundation also provides grants for educators and for individuals seeking industry certifications to advance their careers. Since the program’s inception in 1987, the Foundation has awarded more than $26 million in scholarships to support the next generation of industry leaders.
