Scholarship Details
- Top recipient receives a $25,000 tuition scholarship and serves on the NRF Foundation Board of Directors for one year
- Four additional finalists each receive a $10,000 tuition scholarship
- Scholarship focuses on developing skills in retail, business, and critical thinking
- Application process includes multiple phases involving essays, case studies, and interviews
- Recognizes high-performing students with leadership ability and innovative perspectives on retail
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a student interested in pursuing a career in retail
- Must demonstrate leadership skills, retail experience, and passion for the industry
- Must be adaptable, ambitious, and capable of influencing the future of retail
Application Process
- Submit the online application by May 28, at 12 p.m. ET, including an essay, personal brand video, one letter of recommendation, resume, headshot, and school transcripts
- Semifinalists, notified by June 23rd, must complete a Crate & Barrel case study and two retailer interviews by August 8th
- Semifinalists participate in quick-fire video interviews; 10 students advance to the next phase
- Top five finalists, selected by September 29th, complete final interviews with the NRF Foundation Board of Directors
- Scholarship recipients are announced following the final selection process
