Scholarship Description

Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the James Gaertner & Anne Marks-Gaertner Fine Arts Scholarship, applicants must: be a graduating senior at Nouvel Catholic Central High School; have participated in fine arts during school (plays, concerts, art exhibits, etc.); enroll full-time in pursuit of an undergraduate degree; and be pursuing at least 6 credit hours of Fine Arts classes in the first year of post-high school education. (Applicants are not required to pursue a Fine Arts Degree, but must include Fine Arts classes in their first year of post-high school education, as stipulated in the scholarship qualifications.) Dollar amounts will vary.
