The Western Undergraduate Exchange Plus is a merit based scholarship for incoming freshmen who are non-resident applicants to the University of New Mexico. Applicants must be from eligible jurisdictions. It is renewable for four years, dependent on the completion of 15 credits and a 3.0 GPA each semester. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, and must have a 2.5 GPA for renewal. Although there's no official application deadline, applicants have a greater consideration if they apply by the recommended timeframes for each semester.
