Swami Dayanand Education Foundation provides scholarships up to $5,000 per year to high-school seniors to pursue a college education at any university within the United States. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must demonstrate family income of less than $160,000 per year. Applicants must show a commitment to community service and must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
The scholars will receive a scholarship up to $5,000 annually. The students need to maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA to be eligible for scholarship renewal. The scholarship may be used to pay tuition, room and board, fees, and other educational expenses. Applicants must be high school seniors graduating from the state of Texas (as well as US citizens or permanent residents) and entering college in the fall the scholarship is initially awarded.
