The San Diego Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP) supports students who are actively engaged in the pursuit of a career in a field with an environmental emphasis.
Scholarship Details
- Up to $2,000 awarded per recipient
- Includes free admittance to one AEP-sponsored webinar or workshop
- Award funds may be used for tuition, books, research, or other educational expenses
- Recipients receive a check issued in their name
- Scholarships will be awarded at the AEP San Diego Chapter Annual Awards and Scholarships Event in October
- Recipients will be notified before the event and invited to attend with one guest
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student
- Must attend a university or community college located in San Diego County or Imperial County
- Must be actively pursuing a career with an environmental emphasis
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at current or most recent institution
Application Process
- Complete the official AEP San Diego Chapter scholarship application form
- Include a current college transcript
- Write and submit an essay as specified in the application instructions
- Secure one letter of recommendation
- Email the completed application form and all supporting materials to the AEP San Diego Chapter Scholarship Committee by the posted deadline
As part of AEP’s support efforts, the San Diego Chapter offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. The monetary award will be up to $2,000 per scholarship recipient.
