Scholarship Details

- Past recipients may not re-enter (except Honorable Mentions recipients)
- Five tiers of awards:
- Grand Prize
- First Prize
- Second Prize
- Third Prize
- Honorable Mention
Eligibility Criteria
- Middle school or high school student
- Age 13-19
- Projects must not be pre-completed before the application period begins
Application Process
- Establish an original civic engagement project
- Write an essay and project report in accordance with the Bill of Rights Institute's guidelines
- Gather the required documents along with a video or series of photographs representing your project
- Fill in any other requested information on the MyImpact Challenge portal
- Submit all materials and application in advance of the deadline
Though individual submissions are encouraged, groups of up to 5 students may enter as a team; if a team is chosen as a recipient, winnings funds will be distributed evenly amongst them.
