The Phillip Baumberger Scholarship is designed to support students who are passionate about the pro-life movement while helping fund their higher education. Scholars can earn $2,000 per year, with the potential to receive up to $8,000 throughout their undergraduate career by actively advocating for the pro-life cause and changing hearts and minds on abortion.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: $2,000 per year (up to $8,000 total)
- Recipients must actively advocate for the pro-life movement on campus
- Scholarship is renewable for up to four years
- Scholarship recipients will receive guidance and resources to enhance their advocacy work
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll for the coming academic year at an eligible campus:
- Arizona: Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona
- Delaware: University of Delaware
- Iowa: Iowa State University, University of Iowa
- Illinois: Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
- Missouri: University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri State University
- Nebraska: University of Nebraska Omaha, University of Nebraska Lincoln
- New Jersey: Thomas Edison State University, Rowan University
- Pennsylvania: University of Pittsburgh, Penn State University Park, West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Temple University
- Wisconsin: University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
- Must have at least two years of undergraduate study remaining
- Must believe that abortion kills an innocent person and should be illegal in all circumstances (except for life of the mother situations)
- Must be able to meet all scholarship requirements outlined on the application page
Application Process
- Complete the Phillip Baumberger Scholarship application form
- Submit a personal statement outlining your pro-life beliefs and how you plan to advocate for the pro-life cause on campus
- Provide proof of enrollment at an eligible institution
- Include a letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader
- Submit the completed application and supporting materials by the specified deadline
