The San Diego Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP) supports students who are actively engaged in the pursuit of a career in a field with an environmental emphasis.
Scholarship Details
- Up to $2,000 awarded per recipient
- Includes free admittance to one AEP-sponsored webinar or workshop
- Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, research, and other educational expenses
- Recipients will receive a personal check from the San Diego Chapter of AEP
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student
- Must attend a university or community college in San Diego County or Imperial County
- Must be pursuing a career with an environmental emphasis
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at the current or most recent institution
Application Process
- Complete the official scholarship application form
- Obtain and include a current college transcript
- Write an essay describing your career goals and environmental interests
- Secure one letter of recommendation
- Submit the completed application and all materials via email to the AEP San Diego Chapter Scholarship Committee (refer to application form for email address)
Each scholarship recipient will also receive a complimentary admittance to one AEP-sponsored webinar or workshop. These events are a great opportunity to network with other students and local professionals in the environmental field, as well as learn about relevant and controversial topics in the San Diego region.
