The We Art Scholarship offers a $1,000 award to talented, creative individuals pursuing careers in beauty, fashion, or modeling. Finalists are evaluated based on creativity, originality, writing ability, and performance.
Scholarship Details
- $1,000 scholarship award
- Open for submissions from January 3rd to August 2nd
- Applicants must submit both a video and an essay
Eligibility Criteria
- Must reside in the United States
- Must be at least 16 and no older than 25 years of age at the time of application
- Must attend, plan to attend, or apply to a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the State of Georgia
Application Process
- Choose one project category (Makeup Artist, Nail Technician, Hair Stylist/Barber, Esthetician, Fashion Designer/Wardrobe Stylist, or Model)
- Create a video between 60 seconds and 5 minutes showcasing your chosen project
- Write a 3–5 page essay on “Why I’m passionate about my career” following formatting instructions
- Post your video to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube by August 2nd with the tag #WeArtScholar and mention @weartnpo
- Submit your application form and materials online
Jasper M.-Jones founded Jaiko Magazine & WeArtCo. shortly after resigning from the cosmetology industry. The idea was developed while working as a production makeup artist for fashion events across the United States of America starting in 2017. While traveling, she obtained an aspiration to expose quality brands with a significant purpose. Her studies include brand, project, and e-commerce management, linguistics, digital marketing, and graphic design.
