Content Strategist & Writer, Digital Marketing

A role written with History majors in mind

Highland Park, Illinois | Full-Time | On Site Only

Since 1999, Scholarships.com has helped more than 26 million students find money for college. We operate one of the internet’s largest scholarship search platforms, using content, data, and technology to make scholarship search more understandable, useful, and efficient for students and families.

Role Overview — Why It Matters

History majors: if you enjoy following a trail of evidence, sorting reliable information from noise, and explaining why details matter, this may be your kind of job.

As a Content Strategist & Writer, Digital Marketing, you will research and create student-facing web and email content, review scholarship information for accuracy, and support targeted marketing campaigns. Your work will help a student understand an opportunity, help a campaign reach the right audience, and help our team keep the underlying information accurate and current.

We value actual intelligence first: your ability to assess sources, understand context, write clearly, and catch what others miss. AI tools may help organize information, compare drafts, identify items for review, or check grammar and clarity. They do not replace careful research, fact-checking, editorial judgment, or accountability for the final work.
