Senior Front-End / UI Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, high-performance web pages using leading front-end technologies.
• Play a lead role in engineering the next version of Scholarships.com using a mobile-first strategy.
• Ensure the platform is fully responsive and delivers an optimal user experience across devices.
• Optimize site performance by improving load times through image optimization, caching, code minimization, and CDN usage.
• Write secure, high-quality code, and review/debug code authored by team members.
• Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and overall platform performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in front-end development with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern responsive design techniques.
• Strong understanding of layout, UI/UX principles, and SEO best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience testing and debugging across mobile and desktop browsers.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Sketch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C#, SQL Server, MVC, or Microsoft development environments.
