November is National Scholarship Month and kicks off the three months with the most scholarships available; November, December and January. This is the time to not only look, but seriously research and apply for scholarships. It is also the time to see what is ahead and make sure you are prepared to apply for and win as many scholarships as possible.

Below is a list of several scholarships with November deadlines, in chronological order, which at this point is the order in which we feel you should consider each opportunity to ensure you have enough time to apply for them.

November Scholarships

  • Prudential Emerging Visionaries Scholarship: Prudential is accepting applications for Prudential Emerging Visionaries from people ages 14 to 18 who are taking on today’s toughest financial and societal challenges. An Emerging Visionary is a changemaker – a young person with a bold vision for impact and a project to make it happen. If selected, you may qualify to receive up to $15,000
    Deadline: 11/3
    Amount: $15,000


  • John J. Nelson Sr. Legacy Scholarship: The John J. Nelson Sr. Legacy Scholarship is open to undergraduate students of African American descent who are currently enrolled in a U.S. not-for-profit CIDA- or NASAD-accredited interior design or NAAB-accredited architecture program.
    Deadline: 11/4
    Amount: $10,000


  • Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholarship: The Regeneron Science Talent Search proudly identifies future leaders in science, and awards deserving students and their schools with $3.1 million each year. The first place prize is $250,000—the largest academic prize available to a high school student in the United States.
    Deadline: 11/9
    Amount: $250,000


  • Colgate-Palmolive Haz La U Scholarship: In partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, Colgate Palmolive has created “Haz La U” (Make the U), a college grant program for Hispanic high school seniors. Applicants must be of Hispanic or Latino descent and be a rising High School Senior.
    Deadline: 11/13
    Amount: $10,000


  • AAUW Educational Foundation International Fellowships: Recipients are selected for academic achievement and demonstrated commitment to women and girls. Recipients return to their home countries to become leaders in business, government, academia, community activism, the arts or scientific fields.
    Deadline: 11/15
    Amount: $50,000


  • Cooke College Scholarship Program: In addition to the monetary award, Cooke Scholars receive comprehensive educational advising, significant cohort-based programming, and graduate school funding, as well as a thriving network of nearly 3,000 fellow Cooke Scholars and alumni.
    Deadline: 11/17
    Amount: $55,000
