Applications open every fall. To apply, film a three–minute educational video of yourself explaining a STEM topic you're passionate about. To view submissions we've liked in the past, check out our previous winners at our website. You must be a high school senior or an undergraduate college student to apply.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: Five scholarships of $20,000 each
- Applicants must create and submit a three-minute educational video on any STEM topic
- Advisory board of women and non-binary STEM professionals reviews submissions and selects finalists
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior or an undergraduate college student
- Exclusively for women and non-binary students
- Must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math
Application Process
- Choose a STEM topic you’re passionate about and conduct research to ensure accuracy
- Film a three-minute educational video in the format of a mini-lecture
- Video submission must meet the following criteria:
- A mini-lecture explaining a STEM topic, not a personal statement
- Clear, creative, accurate, and demonstrates passion for the subject
- No longer than three minutes (strictly enforced)
- Scientifically accurate with cited sources (included in a slide or frame at the end of the video)
- Uploaded to YouTube and marked as “public”
An annual $20,000 tuition scholarship funded by Cards Against Humanity for women and non-binary students in science, technology, engineering, or math. Applications for five $20,000 tuition scholarships will open this fall
