The Agnes M. Lindsay Scholarship provides scholarships for students with demonstrated financial need who are from rural areas of Massachusetts and attend public institutions of higher education within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Scholarship Details
- Provides need-based financial aid
- Supports full-time students enrolled in certificate, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree programs

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the start of the academic year
- Must reside in a rural area of Massachusetts, defined as an area outside an urban area with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants
- Be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen under Title IV regulations
- Have applied for financial aid using the FAFSA
- Comply with Selective Service Registration requirements
- Not be in default on any federal or state student loans or owe a refund on prior financial aid
