Scholarship Description

It is easy to apply for a scholarship from the Jewish Community Foundation. First, determine whether you satisfy the following criteria: Applicants must be Jewish (At least one parent is Jewish and applicant identifies as being Jewish or applicant has gone through a formal conversion to Judaism); Be accepted or currently enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning in the United States (or associated with a U.S. institution); and Be a current resident of the Greater Hartford, CT region; Be a citizen of the United States. The number of recipients will vary.

Specific funds may include unique criteria such as academic interest or community service experience. We will review your general application with these unique criteria in mind and match your needs with the right scholarship funds for you. The Anne E. Wall Scholarship is open to all residents of Bloomfield, CT regardless of religious affiliation with demonstrated financial need. The June Miller Rosenblatt Scholarship is open to all residents of Greater Hartford regardless of religious affiliation with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing a major that will lead to a career in education.
