Scholarship Description

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (“The Chapter”) of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) seeks to enhance and advance the law enforcement profession by providing financial support to students pursuing higher education. The Chapter is pleased to offer a scholarship award of at least $1,000 to students who pursue an academic degree with the intent to work in criminal justice or related field.

Scholarship Details

  • Minimum award of $1,000 to support higher education in criminal justice or related fields.
  • Open to both college/university students and graduating high school seniors.
  • Intended for students aiming for careers within criminal justice or law enforcement.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time enrollment at an accredited college/university, having completed 24 semester or 36 quarter units.
  • High school applicants must be graduating in the current academic year with proof of college/university enrollment.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7.
  • Commitment to pursuing a degree for a career in a criminal justice related or law enforcement profession.

Application Process

  1. Obtain the application from the NOBLE SF Bay Area Chapter’s website.
  2. Submit completed application along with required documents electronically or via mail postmarked no later than March 29th.
  3. Provide proof of full-time enrollment and official transcripts before award disbursement.

NOBLE’s evaluation of the applicant regarding each criteria shall be made at its sole and complete discretion. Applicants will not be evaluated based on color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. Awardees will be selected by the scholarship committee and approved by The Chapter Executive Board. Applicants who are selected to receive an award will be notified in writing. Scholarship Search
