The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation is proud to offer students who are Hispanic/Latino or of Hispanic/Latino descent scholarships annually.
Scholarship Details
- Awards up to $1,000 directly to the educational institution.
- Open for re-application annually for qualifying candidates, including past recipients.
- Emphasizes the significance of community involvement.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be attending, enrolled in, or accepted into an accredited post-high school institution.
- Resident or planning to reside in specified counties within Pennsylvania.
- Must have Hispanic ancestry.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Full-time enrollment is required.
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form.
- Write and submit an essay of no more than 500 words as specified in the application.
- Submit the application and all required documents electronically or via regular mail by the deadline.
Qualified candidates, including past recipient awardees, may re-apply every year, provided applicants meet the requirements described above. Awards are not automatically renewed.
