Scholarship Description

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas offers awards to single parents residing in Benton, Carroll, Madison or Washington counties. Eligible applicants must: be a legal United States resident or a resident with DACA status; have a high school diploma or GED; have low to moderate income, typically not more than 250% of federal poverty guidelines; have completed or is in the process of completing the FAFSA; and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0.

For the Degree Program Scholarships, students must be enrolled in an eligible program at one of the area universities, community colleges, or trade schools seeking; Diploma Program, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Degree or Licensure in Cosmetology. You must meet all SPSFNWA criteria to apply. Deadlines will vary, as this scholarship is offered three times a year.
