Practical Nursing Program Mission Statement: The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES ADULT LPN Program, a 1200-clock hour program, educates tomorrow’s Licensed Practical Nurses by: - Providing a solid foundation of both knowledge and skills; - Preparing graduates for successful careers in the dynamic, rapidly changing and challenging field of health care; - Integrating academic excellence with the highest professional standards; - Stressing the humanistic side of nursing, and; - Preparing students to successfully complete the NCLEX Practical Nursing Exam. Health care is changing and the ways in which health care is delivered are changing as well. The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital contributor to the quality of our current and future health care delivery system.
