Western Michigan University has a beautiful campus with many of the charms of an older college. Yet they offer modern programs, and modern convenience. I love Waldo Library. If you have a problem with snow, I am happy to announce that the school does its programs in buildings. Therefore, most of your classes are in one or two buildings -- except for when you are doing non-program or general education classes. The tour is great, but don't expect it to last an hour. It is two hours of walking up and down hills. The hills are one of the few things that do not thrill me about the campus. However, that's what the bus is for. The public bus system is free for Western Michigan students by the way.

It's a really nice campus, from what I saw on my orientation. I got accepted and will be starting there in the fall as a first year freshman. The people there are funny ( in a weird, nerdy kind of way) and they have a lot of school spirit. There's a lot of diversity on campus and a lot of activities to keep you busy. It's an interesting school.

This school is really quite beautiful... my class visited for a high school college trip. Its landscape is a bit hilly though but it really is lovely. There's also a wide variety of people but they told us on the trip that the classes are usually not to large (like 25-30 students average... 50 at most in one classroom) It was a really nice school to see and visit.
