Whether you’re a competitive gamer, a casual gamer, or have never played video games before, Northwest Missouri State University aims to provide a community for every student. With this commitment, they offer financial aid to students who succeed in esports. To be eligible for scholarship opportunities, a student must do the following: enroll full-time (taking at least 12 credits); maintain a 2.0 GPA; practice and play in person for six hours a week; enroll and live on campus for their first year; and be passionate about competitive gaming and thrive in a positive team environment.
