The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate from college debt-free. Parents’ Adjusted Household Income must not exceed $125,000. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help purchase essential items for college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate from a public high school located in a rural area (county population under 50,000)
- U.S. citizen and resident of an eligible state
- Attended an eligible high school for both junior and senior years
- Graduating high school senior with plans to attend a four-year college or university
- Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Minimum ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1150

The Hagan International Graduate Scholarships follow the same terms as the Hagan Graduate Scholarships. International applicants must have graduated or will graduate from a foreign institution, and must have received an acceptance letter for the upcoming fall semester as a first-time graduate student at a college or university located in the U.S.
