Scholarship Description

The Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute President’s Scholarship is available exclusively for future students at Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute who are looking to start their career in culinary arts or pastry and baking. We offer Certificate and Associate degrees in our campus in Miami.

Scholarship Details

  • Scholarship award ranges from $500 to $5,000
  • Available only to future students of Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute
  • Applies to certificate and associate degree programs in culinary arts or pastry and baking
  • Funds are applied to the tuition balance after the first billing period
  • Award is valid only for the current enrollment period

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a future student enrolling at Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute in Miami
  • Must plan to pursue a program in culinary arts or pastry and baking
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student
  • Must demonstrate financial need as part of the financial aid package
  • Must complete a scholarship application and required essay

Application Process

  1. Complete the President’s Scholarship application through the institute
  2. Write a one or two page essay explaining why you are deserving of the award
  3. Describe your career goals as a future chef or baking professional
  4. Explain how you plan to represent Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute
  5. Submit all required materials for review by the President and program directors

The scholarship award ranges from $500 to $5,000 for each recipient and will be applied to the tuition balance after the first billing period. The President will make the selection of the awards in conjunction with the Director of each Program based on the analysis of the applicant’s essay, financial needs, and overall future academic success.
