Scholarship Description

WTS is dedicated to creating a more diverse, inclusive and equitable transportation industry through the advancement of women. The WTS-NH chapter works to engage, grow and support the next generation of transportation professionals in New Hampshire. One step toward accomplishing this is by awarding the WTS-NH Undergraduate Scholarship to current and past New Hampshire high school students, as well as college students currently studying in New Hampshire. Motivated students and young women pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation related fields, such as engineering, science, technology, and math are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Details

  • Up to two undergraduate scholarships worth $2,500 or more each will be awarded for the upcoming academic year.
  • All applicants will receive a complimentary WTS membership.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a student currently enrolled in a New Hampshire high school or college, or have graduated from a New Hampshire high school within the past year.
  • Currently studying science, technology, engineering, math, or other sustainability-related majors.
  • Considering a career in a transportation- or sustainability-related field.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 required.

  2. Scholarship selection is competitive and based on specific career goals, leadership roles, academic record, and extracurricular activities.
