The Badge of Honor scholarship program was born out of a desire to support students of first-responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, we offer this scholarship opportunity to continue to support the many first-responder families that make sacrifices for our community each and every day.
The Sustainability Scholarship is aimed to recognize college-bound students who have a vision and desire to support the environment with eco-friendly initiatives.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for both the Badge of Honor Scholarship and/or the Sustainability Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- San Diego County, CA resident
- Must be enrolled in or planning to attend an accredited college or university on a full–time basis beginning in the coming fall
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, based upon a 4.0 scale
How to Apply
To apply for either scholarship, students should submit a completed and signed application, either online, in–branch or by mail, to Wheelhouse Credit Union.
