The Gratiot County Community Foundation, incorporated in 1992, is a vehicle for receiving charitable gifts that will remain forever in Gratiot County. As a non-profit corporation, we are classified as a public charity under the Internal Revenue Code, making donors eligible for federal tax deductions and a State of Michigan tax credit. Gifts to the Foundation may be in cash, real estate, securities, life insurance policies, and/or personal property and may be made during one's lifetime or through wills and trusts.
The Sue Dilts Memorial Art Scholarship supports Gratiot County students in pursuit of arts education. To be eligible, applicants must: attend or be a graduating senior of a school in Gratiot County; and pursue education beyond the classroom in arts (e.g.,band camp, dance workshops, art class, etc.).
