The senior must be a resident of Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson or Ogle County in Illinois and have a chosen academic field of study in Fine Arts. These include Visual Arts, such as Drawing, Graphic Design, Sculpting, Painting, Music, Dance, Theater and Architecture).

Eligibility Criteria
- Resident of Winnebago, Boone, or Ogle County, Illinois
- Enrolled senior in a county public or private high school
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Chosen field of study in Fine Arts
- Ineligible if a child or grandchild of Womanspace employees, board members, or scholarship committee
Application Process
- Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria, including residency, GPA, and field of study
- Complete all sections of the application, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Submit the application electronically via email with “Womanspace Scholarship” in the subject line
- Include at least two letters of recommendation, with at least one from a teacher in a relevant discipline
The scholarship committee will review all eligible applications. Candidates will be scored based on the quality of the
overall application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. Awardee will be notified no later than April 30th.
