Scholarship Description

Oracle Women in Leadership seeks to recognize one outstanding student who shows potential to excel in college STEM studies by awarding a one-time scholarship to a deserving female active-duty military college student pursuing a STEM degree. This scholarship will be applied towards the students ongoing higher-level academic education at an accredited Community College or four-year college or university.

Scholarship Details

  • One-time $1,500 scholarship awarded to an outstanding active-duty military college student
  • Must be used at an accredited community college or four-year college/university
  • Scholarship must support continued STEM education; students graduating in the current award year are not eligible

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be a current member of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited community college or four-year college/university
  • Must major in a qualifying STEM field aligned with AFCEA’s mission
  • Must be in good academic standing with at least a 2.8 GPA (unweighted)
  • Must demonstrate aptitude in STEM and well-rounded academic performance

Application Process

  1. Complete the online application, including short-answer questions
  2. Submit an official transcript showing completed courses and Fall grades (preferably via email)
  3. Have one letter of recommendation submitted by your Commanding Officer or college professor in PDF format via email
  4. Submit a DD214 or current service paperwork showing OCO service (do not include SSN) via email
  5. Ensure all application components and documentation are submitted by the posted deadline

This $1,500 scholarship will be applied towards the students ongoing higher-level academic education at an accredited Community College or four-year college or university. The expected graduation date cannot be in the year the scholarship is awarded.
