• The vision of Great Minds in STEM is to be a national leader in keeping America technologically strong by promoting science, technology, engineering and math careers especially in underserved communities. Part of their mission is: to enlighten and engage families, educators, communities and employers to assist underserved students pursuing STEM career; and to inspire our nation through recognition of the achievements of Hispanics and other role models in STEM.

  These scholarships, sponsored by the Davila and Trevino families in memory of David Davila and Joe Trevino, are awarded to STEM undergraduate students attending a 4-year college/university in Texas, and who exemplify the Davila/Trevino motto- those who are willing to work hard; achieve your goals; remember where you came from and always give back.
