Diversify the Future is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering individuals passionate about STEM careers. We aim to dismantle barriers faced by under-represented students in STEM, fostering confidence and success in their chosen fields.
Scholarship Details
- Award Amount: Up to $10,000 per year for a bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Payment: Directly to the educational institution, covering tuition and housing fees.
- Renewal: Annual, based on meeting the university or college's GPA requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be high school seniors enrolling in a STEM bachelor's degree program in Fall.
- Must belong to an underrepresented group.
- Residency: Must currently reside in the Greater Chicagoland area but can apply to any U.S. university or college.
Application Process
- Complete the application form.
- Submit a personal essay or video essay responding to the specified prompt.
- Application Deadline: March 1.
- Selected applicants will be interviewed by the Diversify the Future Board.
- Successful applicants will be notified in the summer, with the award distributed upon fall enrollment.
