The Ford Driving Dreams Scholarship Program is a program for two- and four-year college students pursuing STEM-related career areas that support the Electric Vehicles and Advanced Manufacturing Industries. The Ford Fund Scholarship will be made available to students from under-resourced communities who demonstrate economic need. This will include, but is not limited to, Hispanic/Latino students, African American/Black students, and First-Generation college students. Targeted areas include Buffalo, NY; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Louisville, KY; and West Tennessee. Applicants must be pursuing eligible majors.
The Ford Driving Dreams Scholarship Program is sponsored by Ford Motor Company Fund and administered by the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC). For consideration, applicants must submit a transcript, resume, a letter of recommendation addressed to the Ford Driving Dreams Scholarship Selection Committee, and an essay. Throughout decades of service, LNESC has developed programs that follow students through each developmental level, aimed at maximizing the educational potential of youth to help them become life-long learners and leaders.
